Why did you apply to join the Extreme Blue Program?

Because we are working with Blockchain,  it is very important to look at IT security, and IBM is a good partner for that. Hence, Extreme Blue is the perfect summer internship to work with something like that! IBM Blockchain empowers businesses to digitize their transaction workflow through a highly secured, shared and replicated ledger.

What projects have you been working on in your time at IBM?

We worked with Blockchain and other new technologies like Internet of Things. This gave us the possibility to experience these technologies and work with them first hand. Another exciting thing is that we were able to bring these technologies to partners like two major German banks as well as to one other external customer.

Would you recommend someone to apply to the Extreme Blue program?

Definitely! It is great to work together with new technologies and connect them. Extreme Blue is challenging, fun, insightful and inspiring.

Check out the video of the team talking about these questions and others in more detail.
