IBM Malaysia Wins Big

Recently, IBM Malaysia bagged six prominent awards – the prestigious Talent Corp LIFE@WORK 2016 CEO Champion award, LIFE@WORK 2016 honoree, INTI Employer of the Year 2016 award, Computerworld Readers’ Choice 2016 award for technical support and maintenance, and two awards in the 6th Annual Outsourcing Malaysia Excellence Awards.  These wins are testament to IBM’s commitment to being a great place to work, and our dedication to our clients’ success through unmatched support.

LIFE@WORK 2016 awards

IBM Malaysia received the LIFE@WORK 2016 CEO Champion award from Talent Corp and the Prime Minister’s Office, a recognition of IBM’s progressive Diversity and Inclusion policies and practices.

On top of this, IBM was also recognized as a LIFE@WORK honoree along with 28 other organizations. LIFE@WORK honorees are trailblazers in their commitment and effort to promote better work-life integration, parent-friendly work environments, and practices that better attract and retain talent.

INTI Employer of the Year 2016 award

In recognition of IBM’s outstanding partnership with INTI International University & Colleges, IBM Malaysia received the INTI Employer of the Year 2016 award. IBM hired the most number of INTI graduates in 2016, beating Intel and Hewlett Packard Enterprise to win gold in this category.

Computerworld Reader’s Choice Awards 2016

IBM won the award for technical support and maintenance at the 15th edition of the Computerworld Malaysia Readers Choice Awards (RCA) event.  The Awards go to the service and product providers that score the highest in the areas of price, performance, feature sets, reliability and ease of use by Computerworld Malaysia readers.

Outsourcing Malaysia Excellence Award 2016

Instituted in 2011, the Outsourcing Malaysia Excellence awards recognize excellence across organizations and individuals that have greatly contributed to the development, enhancement, and growth of the outsourcing marketplace in Malaysia. IBM won awards in two categories – in the Corporate category, we won for Best Practices in Business Process Transformation, where we had pitched agile and Cognitive (Watson) in a big way; and in the Business Transformation category, where we grabbed the prize for Best Transformation Leader.
