Spotlight on IBMer Jordan Falcon for U.S. Native American Heritage Month

Native American Heritage Month is celebrated in the United States every November and is recognized as an opportunity to specifically highlight the culture and contributions of Native Americans.

Proud of our long-standing commitment to diversity and inclusion, IBM honors this event by featuring one of its recent hires, Jordan Falcon. A graduate of North Dakota State University, Jordan talks about his Native American background, his decision to join IBM, and his advice for professionals.

Jordan’s tribal affiliation is with the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa. He attended the American Indian Science and Engineering Society’s (AISES) National Conference this year where he had the opportunity to meet students and chat about IBM’s rich history with the AISES organization. IBM has been partners with AISES since the org was founded 40 years ago.

Jordan Falcon began his career with IBM in 2017 in his current position as a Content Management Support Specialist with the Acquisition Data Capture Team. His responsibilities include ingesting client data, analysis of data within IBM data sources, and creating easy-to-understand dashboards for clients.
