We grab a coffee with IBMers from around the world, and share our chat in this weekly spotlight series. This week you can meet Darius, from IBM US.
In the morning, I like my coffee…
with a little bit of half and half and three packets of splenda. The sweeter the better!

When I get up to go to work…
I look forward to working with my team to solve business challenges and, also, learning a piece of new information everyday!I am responsible…
for navigating the digital experience for the CIO by ensuring that our domains are in tiptop shape.

My typical day consists of daily stand ups to talk about the progress of the projects I am working on and thinking critically about the user journey of our cohort. The coolest part of my job is…
being able to take ownership of the digital optimization strategy for the web pages on which I work.

The biggest challenge I have is…

sometimes, navigating IBM’s matrix to include all relevant stakeholders because it is such a big company!

Most memorable moment in my career…
was putting on the Tech Summit for high school and middle school kids, an event to expose students of color to possible careers in tech, with IBM’s Black Network of NY.Top piece of career advice…
Remain a student of the world, be confident and always put out positive energy. I truly believe that your thoughts manifest themselves so always be optimistic about your career and its possibilities!
